Whoever carries the MICRO
III is fully protected against hazards from toxic gases like carbon
monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, chlorine, ammonia or oxygen deficiency
and surplus. The extra small and lightweight detector easily fits
into a shirt pocket or can be clipped on a belt.
State-of-the-art microprocessor technique allows for an operation
time of 9 months on an ordinary dry cell battery. The user can replace
the battery without having to use any tools.
The MICRO III is approved for usage in explosion-endangered atmospheres.
Water and dust cannot enter into the detector (IP56). The long-life
overload-safe sensors can be easily replaced by the user through
other pre-calibrated sensors. The MICRO III then adjusts itself,
without any maintenance to the new sensor, the new measuring gas,
and detection range.
The three alarm thresholds and the battery alarm are pre-set. For
carbon monoxide and ammonia i.e. these values are set at 30, 60 and
300 ppm. A specially constructed resonance cell intensifies the audible
alarm, which has a changing frequency. The two fully visible alarm
LEDs flash alternately and the different alarms can easily be distinguished.
The MICRO III is available in 3 different versions:
The basic version G201 (Electronic Manual non Display) with the
above mentioned specifications. The version G202 with an additional
display for reading of measurement values, battery capacity and
service operations, and version G203 with an additional keypad for
further readings, on-off switching, as well as service operations.
