The transmitter CS21 uses the proven chemosorption detection principle for detection of toxic gases, vapors and combustibles. The extremely short response time of the transmitter allows taking counter measures in time and thereby prevents further damages.

The long life of the sensors makes the CS21 a low cost solution for your detection needs. A transmitter can permanently be operated for more than 5 years. The CS21 gets calibrated before shipment.

CS21 with external sensor
Installation is made easy by wall mounting. The distance between transmitter and controller can be more than 500 m. A rugged aluminum casing protects sensor and electronic from splashing water and dirt.

The transmitter must not be directly operated in ex-areas. For measurement of combustible gases in the LEL-range the gas needs to be sampled towards the transmitter. In this case the ex-protection needs to be guaranteed with suitable, external components, eg: flame-protection.

Smart sensors, intelligent and pre-calibrated
The Smart Sensor Technology makes installation or sensor replacement a matter of seconds - just plug the sensor into the transmitter. The data for a multitude of gases are already stored in the sensor. Adjustments are done with touch keys directly at the transmitter or by means of the remote control (one man calibration).
