Unburned Carbon Online Analyser (UBC-2200)

The Unburned Carbon Online Analyser 2200 (UBC-2200) offers operators with automatic and continuous online data on the amount of unburned carbon (UBC) in post-combustion fly ash, as well as physical samples for laboratory testing.

The UBC-2200 varies from the UBC-2000 in that it employs microwave technology, which is particularly suitable for power plants combusting coal with a greater variation in characteristics due to sourcing from different coal mines.

The UBC-2200 can be installed in the flue gas duct near the combustion zone, allowing burn-out efficiency data to be accessed immediately in the boiler control room. In addition to continuous measurement, the UBC-2200 may direct a physical sample into a container for lab testing.
