Unburned Carbon Online Analyser (UBC-2000)
Home | Unburned Carbon Online Analyser (UBC-2000)Unburned Carbon Online Analyser (UBC-2000)
The Unburned Carbon Online Analyser 2000 (UBC-2000) offers operators with automatic and continuous online data on the amount of unburned carbon (UBC) in post-combustion fly ash, as well as physical samples for laboratory testing.
The UBC-2000 is primarily used in large electric boilers that burn hard or brown coal.
The UBC-2000 employs infrared technology that is particularly well-suited for power plants that burn coal with less variation in characteristics due to sourcing from similar coal mines/excavation spots. The UBC-2000 can be installed in the flue gas duct near the combustion zone, allowing the data to be accessed directly in the boiler control room.
M&W JAWO Sampling was the world's first company to develop, patent, and deploy the UBC online analyzer.
