DIRTY AIR PITOT
The DAP is a portable instrument designed for measuring the air velocity in fuel pipes between mills and burners.
The pitot is introduced into the fuel pipe through an airlock (Dustless Connection). Measurements can be taken at any place across the pipe.
Application areas:
- Establishing air velocity profile across the fuel pipe.
- Measuring air velocity for isokinetic sampling (ISO 9931).
- Calculations of amount of primary air flow to burners.
- Temperature measurement in fuel pipe.
