Function
The sampling system ESS 04 is based on the principle of low pressure
extraction. An injector is integrated in the sampling probe operated
by the blower. In the measuring gas way of the probe a 1”-connection
for a common probe of the PFM 02-series (however with modified probe
connection) of the Dr. Födisch Umweltmesstechnik AG is configured.
At this point of the probe a measuring gas flow is available being
independent from the velocity of the exhaust gas but depending on
the flow sucked off. So the disadvantage of the triboelectric dust
measurement – the dependence of the sensor signal on the exhaust
gas velocity – is excluded. Moreover it is possible by means
of the sampling system to measure the dust content behind ESP with
triboelectric measuring devices.
