Function
The dust measuring system DMS 01 can be used for gravimetric measurement
of dust concentration in streaming gases. At the measurement a partial
flow is extracted from the exhaust gas flow. This portion is led via
a respective filter. At the same time the extracted flow is measured.
Within the frame of the evaluation the filters are weighed out. The
dust concentration is calculated from the weighed values and the measuring
values of the ancillary parameters (flow, temperature).
Components
The corresponding components of the measuring technology are installed
in portable cases for easy transportation. The following components
necessary for measurement are contained:
> Pump with bypass
> Gas meter with thermometer
> Humidity separator with condensation trap
> Rotameter
