Clean air flow test

Clean Air Flow Test is required to be done whenever major maintenance is carried out in Coal Mill / Coal pipes

 which has a significant bearing on distribution of coal/air among the coal pipes. Typically this test is carried out to determine the level of cold air balancing of coal pipes.

1. ‘L’ Type Pitot tube & ‘U’ tube Manometer : They are used to obtain air velocity in coal pipes.

2. Software: Computation software for data analysis & report generation.
