Boiler air ingress test
Boiler Air Ingress Test determines the level of air ingress from the Boiler Roof & the Shell. It is particularly useful for boiler which is in operation for more than 4 years.
1. High Velocity Thermocouple (HVT) : To determine “Boiler in Leakage” & Study Combustion Pattern, H.V.T. probes are capable of measuring the flue gas and temperature levels in furnace upto 20ft deep, with 2 access ports. Once a complete traverse of the furnace has been completed. The data can be plotted to determine if, and where, there is a problem with air in-leakage, secondary airflow or side-to-side fuel in-balance in the furnace. Each H.V.T. prob is fabricated from 304 and 316 Stainless Steel to resist corrosion and is pressure tested to ensure zero leaks. A 304 Stainless Steel Venturi type aspirator draws air through the radiation shield and over a Type “K” thermocouple. A water-cooled jacket protects and cools the probe, while quick connect couplings allows for fast and easy attachment of air and water to standard industrial connections.
2. Gas Analyser : HVT probes have an integrated sampling tube allowing for an analyzer to draw sampler from the furnace to analyze the gas (O 2 , CO, CO 2 , NO etc). A wide range of Portable / Transportable. Fuel Cell & Non Fuel Cell Based analysers are available for semi continuous/ Continuous analysis O, CO, CO 2 , NO, NO 2 , NO X , SO, C X Hy, H2 etc.
3. Sample Conditioning Unit : An ideal portable unit which cools & dries gas sampler to be analyzed. It includes assembled case with an ice cooled single/ multi pint bubbler, vacuum pump, filter, flow meter, check valves & required tubing. The rugged pump installed in this gas sampler significantly reduces normal sampling times and has also been proven to extend the life of portable/ transportable gas analysers. The cost of this durable, effective portable unit has proven to pay for itself by reducing the opening cost of analysers (by reducing the quantity of consumable filters) & also the cost of repairs due to over worked sampling pumps, fuels cells.
4. Vacuum Pump : A Powerful dual stage positive displacement pump capable of extracting flue gas sampler from HVT positioned in boiler furnace.
